Patients and caregivers have the right to:

- ๐งโโ๏ธ Receive services without discrimination, regardless of age, race, gender, disability, religion, or payment source
- ๐ Receive clear and understandable information regarding equipment, services, and supplier responsibilities
- ๐ ๏ธ Receive instruction on the safe and proper use of equipment, consistent with manufacturer guidelines
- ๐ฒ Be informed when equipment may not be covered by insurance or payer programs
- ๐ Privacy and confidentiality of personal and health information, in accordance with HIPAA and applicable laws
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Voice concerns or complaints regarding services without fear of retaliation
- ๐ Be informed of their rights and responsibilities as a recipient of home medical equipment services
๐ Patient Responsibilities
Patients and caregivers are responsible for:
- ๐ Providing accurate and complete information necessary for equipment coordination and documentation
- ๐ ๏ธ Using equipment as instructed by the supplier and ordering provider
- ๐งผ Maintaining equipment in reasonable condition, including basic care and cleanliness
- ๐จ Promptly reporting equipment issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns
- ๐ Notifying Kinxo of changes in address, insurance coverage, or ordering provider
- โป๏ธ Returning rental equipment when it is no longer medically necessary or ordered
